Now Verizon wants me to pay the $250 for an extended just for the privilege of continuing to pay them my normal monthly rate.

Verizon shows this as strong 4G area. I'm lucky to get one or to bars. Calls drop more than 50% of the time. Even when they don't drop they are garbled and almost unusable.
Verizon changed the Sim Card, no difference.
Now they want me to pay them $250 for the privilege of continuing to pay my normal monthly rate.
