Verizon | 3726 SE 3rd St | We used to get great reception here. I have repeatedly called Verizon about sometimes not getting a signal at all in this area, I have even went outside on some days and held my cellphone in the air and it says no network, I have been reporting this since August of 2016 they say their map says there is coverage in our area, But I told them friends can't even get signal in our driveway sometimes. We live in a treed area but it is in between 2 main streets with lots of businesses. Some days I will get one bar some days I will talk and the call will drop and I can't get on the network to call back. Their solution was to either sell me a newer phone that will use my wifi to call when their network is not available or a box that connects to our wifi and will act as a mini cell sigmal repeater. BOTH use our wifi, I they are using another company's services in order to keep providing service to their customers and won't reduce the cost a penny. This is unethical, To piggy back your business by using the bandwidth of another's. Both could cost customers more money. The repeater box uses more electricity so we pay more, and it uses data stollen from the wifi internet provider to assure you service, Can you do anything about this? We finally ended up going to Total wireless, that now costs less for the same service using the same crappy verizon towers and service, I was with Verizon in this house for over 5 years with no issues till August, The signal fluctuates here, Yet they say there has been nothing reported in our area, I have a friend that lives down the street that has the same issue with his phone too, Please help | 2019 |
